The Play
 
Ghayal Pakhara is about the troubles and travails in the life of a young tribal man, and his triumph over misfortune and scheming detractors with the help of his educated wife. The play reflects and mirrors the conditions of tribals in a corrupt society. Gautam, the protagonist, is a tribal from a poor family. Despite difficulties, his parents manage to get him educated in the city. He does very well in university and dreams of giving a comfortable life to his parents by getting a good job. He finds employment, but is unable to join and finds out that an imposter has started working in his place. By investigating the matter he finds out about his betrayal by his old childhood friend, Anand, now an inspector. Disillusioned and shocked, he manages to overcome his disappointment and decides to fight against the injustice. Along with his lawyer wife, he fights his case in the court and finally wins.
