| Starting Over is a tragicomedy that reminds us of the fragility and the strangeness of our world. After an enormous explosion, the entire universe and all the humankind are wiped out. All, except for two survivors, a couple, who was in the midst of their wedding ceremony, when - BOOM! They awake in shock among the ruins and discover that they have forgotten how to live, how to love and what the heck they are supposed to do after getting married. Unfortunately, the future of mankind depends on them. Another couple, of a very different kind, comes to their rescue. Those are two very naive angels, who descend from the heavens to save life on the planet. Intertwined with the young couple’s tragic story, are comic situations, anecdotes and eccentric characters (human and others) that tell us about the absurdity of the lost world. |
