Sup-Ek Prahashan delves into the theme of social action by using the traditional Assamese theatre form of Ankiya Nat. The story is about the dictatorial Raja Dharmeswar, his cruel regime of illegal activities and unethical practices, and his ultimate removal from power by a mass revolution. Driven by his injustice, the people of his kingdom rebel. As the public outcry gathers momentum, the King tempts nobles, artists and other influential members of his kingdom with lucrative incentives and tries to garner support, but his efforts come to naught. His family, courtiers, and the commander-in-chief escape even as the people storm his palace, remove Raja Dharmeswar from his throne, and usher in an era of peace, justice and prosperity.
